PDF to Word
PDF to Word converts a text-based PDF into an editable DOCX, ODT or RTF document using LibreOffice, reconstructing paragraphs and formatting from the positioned text in the file.
PDF to PowerPoint
PDF to PowerPoint builds a .pptx file in which every page of your PDF becomes one full-bleed slide image, sized to fill the slide edge to edge.
PDF to Excel
PDF to Excel reads the text layout of your PDF and reconstructs its tables into an .xlsx spreadsheet or .csv file, splitting columns where the page shows runs of whitespace.
PDF to Text
PDF to Text extracts the text content of a PDF into a plain .txt file, optionally preserving the original page layout using spacing.
PDF to Markdown
PDF to Markdown converts a text-based PDF into a structured .md file, detecting headings, bullet lists and tables and marking them up with Markdown syntax.
PDF to PDF/A
PDF to PDF/A converts your document to PDF/A-2b, the ISO standard for long-term archiving, embedding every font so the file renders identically decades from now.
About these tools
A PDF stores positioned glyphs rather than paragraphs or tables, so converting out of PDF means reconstructing that structure. Simple documents convert cleanly; complex layouts need tidying. Scanned files must be run through OCR first.
Every tool in this category is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. Files are processed on our own server and deleted automatically within one hour.
