Remove Pages

Remove Pages from PDF deletes the pages you select from a document and returns the remaining pages as a single tidied file.

About Remove Pages

Most PDFs arrive with pages nobody needs. Scanners insert blanks from double-sided feeds. Downloaded reports open with a cover sheet and close with three pages of legal boilerplate. Bank statements carry advertising inserts between the transaction pages. Stripping these out before you file, print or email a document keeps it smaller and stops readers scrolling past material that has nothing to do with them.

Work from thumbnails rather than page numbers where you can, because a quick visual pass catches the near-duplicate scan you would otherwise miss. Note that removing a page does not remove any bookmark or internal link that pointed at it, so a table of contents may end up with entries that jump somewhere unexpected. Check navigation afterwards if the document relies on it. Encrypted files need unlocking first.

How to remove pages

  1. Upload the PDF containing pages you no longer want to keep.
  2. Click the thumbnails to mark each page for removal, or type page numbers.
  3. Press Remove Pages to build a new file without those pages.
  4. Download the trimmed PDF once processing finishes.

Why use this tool

Visual page picker

See every page as a thumbnail and click to select. Far safer than typing numbers blind when hunting for blanks or duplicate scans.

Original quality kept

Remaining pages are copied across untouched. No re-compression, no rasterising, no visible difference from the source document at any zoom level.

Works on any device

Runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop. Nothing to install and no plugin, so you can trim a file from anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool really free?
Yes, free with no signup, no account and no usage limit per day. The PDF you download contains only your remaining pages, with no watermark, advert or extra page inserted by us anywhere in the file.
Does removing pages affect quality?
No. The pages you keep are copied directly into the new document rather than re-encoded, making this a lossless edit. Text, vectors and scanned images come out byte-identical in appearance to the original file.
Is there a file size limit?
Each file can be up to 50 MB, with a maximum of 25 files per request. That covers most scanned documents. Very large scans can exceed 50 MB, in which case compress the file first, then remove the pages you do not need.
Are my documents kept private?
Uploads are handled on our own server, never passed to a third-party API, and deleted automatically within one hour. The removed pages are not archived anywhere. Download your result before that hour elapses, since nothing is retained afterwards.
Can I recover pages I deleted by mistake?
Not from the output file, since removed pages are simply not written into it. Your original upload is untouched though, so keep a copy on your device and start again if a selection was wrong. Always check the thumbnails before pressing Remove.
